WALLPAPERING TOP TEN TIPS
1. preparation is two thirds of the work
2. if possible always cross-line(with lining paper)you wouldnt put a carpet down without underlay same goes with wallpaper
3.size the walls(a thinner paste)this gives you more time with the paper and will seal any filler or marks, chalky paint on your walls
4.work away from the light....this will make joins less visible
5.paste...always put plenty of paste on your paper especially the edges and paste in a herringbone fashion or cross to cross
6.where to start .in this room i started in the middle of the fireplace,or at the edge of a window
7.always sponge off joins,we dont want glue lines shineing in the light
8.always check your soaking times,to little and paper will overlap..to much you will see joins
9.when taking plugs ,light sockets away from walls always make sure you
get the dust and bits of rubble out(if unsure always turn power off)
10. never score around light sockets etc it will mark them use scissors

PaperingI've managed to do rooms in the last few weeks I've decorated one room that has never seen paper, my little hide away, and I finished the bathroom this afternoon, and I'm the same hopeless at corners.
