what cant you do withoutnearly everybody on this site has some green credentials even if it is only a small part of thier life, for example being a bit less of a litter lout.
99.999% of the people on this site seem to care about how they treat this world
BUT we all have our weakness and i bet we all do some thing that is not so eco-friendly.
me , i find it almost impossible to function in the kitchen without kitchen roll, and was thinking that i have blotted my copybook with this sin as i get through at least two rolls a week and will go out to buy more if we run out .
i like green&red peppers and still buy them even though they come from other countries and have a big airmiles footprint, but i do eat a lot more home grown & local veggies these days.
I would NEVER be without some form of car as my family are far flung, and even if they were not i would still want a car
what are your weaknesses that are not so green??

Two cars.
Holidays abroad (admittedly we do use sail power when we're there).
Non seasonal veg.

I was behind a car full of young lads on the way home this afternoon from the village. They were merrily chucking McD wrappers & paper cups out of the car, with no thought whatsoever for anyone or anything. I was fuming at them.
When their 4-way flashers came on at the end of my track, & they trundled to a halt I couldn't resist stopping to have a pop at them (I had bloody milkshake all over the bonnet! ) Turned out they'd run out of petrol. I left them stranded! Sod them
Anyway, I don't think I could manange without petrol tools! They're not exactly 'green' I know, but they're essential to me!
And I burn chipboard blocks in the fire God knows what fumes they're putting up the chimmney, but hopefully they burn hot enough to destroy anything too nasty.
There's probably many more that I could come up with though

I couldn't do without bleach. I use quite a bit of it around the house and I know I shouldn't but it works well and its what I was brought up with. I do feel guilty for using it but do it anyway. I am still using carrier bags at the supermarket too. I do re-use them but its not the point. I am a bad very bad girl!

Me too, Bleach, Car, probally more worrying though is vast amounts of electricity not countered much by low voltage bulbs.
