This was a comment left in the 'Have your say' section of a news article re' Jade Goody (disregard the fact that it's in very poor taste for the time being Wink

)......................way too far-fetched, in my view, but in these days of media-hype & celebrity for celebrity's sake, is it entirely beyond the realms of possibility? I kow there's been stacks of media-interest in jades plight, but has anyone actually seen of heard anything from anyone outside her immediate circle of friends & PR people? I'm not saying I agree (or concur) with the comments made, but it's an interesting take on things, don't you think?

Purely hypothetically, if there were any grain of truth in this, surely to God every living person would see straight through it & the credibility of every person involved would be utterly destroyed!?

now, to the point..........it wouldn't surprise me in the least.

to be honest, i can't stand the woman, for me she represents the culmination of pretty much everything that is wrong with society today.

However, having watched family members die from cancer, i'm not bitter enough to be glad that she has this awful disease. But my anger is directed at the media

serious money is being made on the back of her illness, and none of it will go to any of the cancer research/care charities. exceptionally well off people falling overthemselves to be seen to be kind and jump on the gravy train - the media and the celeb culture in this case (and this country in general) has actually made me dread the day she does die, as i fully expect another Dianaesque outpouring of boak inducing emotion and tributes and books of condolence

at least the high profile has encouraged more people to get checks done. but this just puts more strain on already stretched charities.

Jade can keep what she gets for her family, after all, she sells her life in public for a living, why not a dying too? but folk like clifford and the red tops, chat mags should be putting some of their earnings on the back of this to the charities that need the money most

and if she does survive and makes a miracle come back - i'll shoot her myself!

Interesting really - Sorry Jade - but I think in it's way your life was a bit "Candle in the wind"

But when all said & done - isn't Cervical cancer a form of STD - nobody has the bottle to say so tho' - castrate the carriers - maybe then the ladies can have some peace Very Happy

or of course They could stay faithful to one bloke crybaby
