over the lastfew days i have been both shooting and fishing, and as a side bonus i have seen a good bit of wildlife Smile

i was fishing saturday and sunday and while i was sitting all quiet and relaxed the wildlife forgot i was there and came out to go about thier business.

according to my books the bird that was fliting about was a reed warbler,
i saw moles running across the grass, and they were certainly moles Shocked
well it`s a long time since i last saw that.
i saw an adder slink into the undergrowth, and a grass-snake swimming along the margins Smile
Mr toad soon came out of the undergrowth not long after Mr adder went in!

with all this going on i almost forgot why i was there.

i went shooting last night and again in the quiet moments i was privilaged to witness other aspects of our countryside.
a sparrowhawk sat in the tree i was hiding under.
and i spent an age watching a couple of mice playing under the hedge Smile

sometimes it`s just so nice to be out there!!! thank you god! Smile

Sounds like you had a great time - Perhaps you should take a camera with you.

No friends in Suffolk Neeps.

They're all relations in Suffolk and Norfolk. Interbreeding and all that. Wink  Laughing
