Nice dog KC....looks very laid back. Its strange he is so vocal. Longdogs usually are quite quiet. You have to really annoy Anch to get any noise out of him whatsoever. Our neighbours didn't even realise we had a dog for the first three weeks. Its all done with a look, head to one side means "feed me", long panicky stare means "I really really need a wee!"

Gabriel talks non stop a sort of yawning moan The only barking is when they are play fighting - at least I think they are playing they sound pretty vicious.... _________________ "Like any dealer he was watching for the card

We were surprised too mb. Our two other lurchers and two greys we've had were all pretty quiet - the old worked lurcher especially almost never barked when awake. But this one seems to have quite a big dollop of whippet in the mix and whippets can be yippy so I suppose that's why. He has now taught our grey to bark when she wants a walk too, which is really helpful so there's lots of dog training work going on here atm
He is hilarious though. OH is 6'2" and this dog can take a toy out of his hand held at full stretch above his head He's made of springs and rubber |

Oh but always worth it KC.....
When Mine's ears go like that, we call it having his hunting cap on, cos they swivel forwards like that when he sees cat / rabbit / deer / badger etc.... _________________ This post has been made possible utilizing mobile ouija board technologies (beta). |
