That's interesting Andy - what trade are you in ? building of some sort ?
Surprising thet you should have more bookings now than in the "boom times" though - have you been doing it long ? _________________ It's a good job it's only a game - be a bitch if it was real |

The deadline for LEHMAN Bros to file for bancruptcy was 17 minutes ago - we have heard nothing.
Fanny Mae & Freddy Mac were bailed out (a bit) a week or so ago.
BANKS are going bust
What's so unusal ?
a) This has not happened since Pre- 1900
b) Prechter said this would have to happen before the end - He forecast that the Fed would not be able to fund the sums necessary to rescue them - without entirely destroying the dollar's foreign credibility.
OMG - This is actually serious stuff. _________________ It's a good job it's only a game - be a bitch if it was real |

They announced it round about 07.00.
Now there is also Merryl Lynch and AIG in the poo.
America's enconomic big boys are starting to drop like flies and pressure is already mounting on the Dollar. Tomorrow could really tell when the Chinese and Japanese Stock Markets reopen after a holiday. _________________ Why do "New Age Travellers" have old caravans and "Old Age Travellers" have new ones?

If times are really desperate, bancruptcy is a viable option - only lasts a year (apparently) & you don't have to run away & keep looking over your shoulder - any solicitor will be able to help with the forms etc. After a year - you're free & clear
Personally I'd have a good splurge on whatever credit I could get - first - Sheep & lambs & all that.
Have you all heard the D*** head Cameron ? saying he'd be prudent & balance budget over the cycle etc etc - "Gordon Brow's fault" - which in many ways it is, Then he goes & wrecks it by saying he'd make the Bank of England act as liquidator for Banks that got in trouble & the financial damage would lie where it fell (the creditors)
Sounds logical & might win him votes - BUT the whole problem of "Credit Crunch" atm is Because the "Creditors" (other banks & wealthy individuals & companies ) are frightened of lending money to other banks through the inter- bank loan system for Exactly the reason that that's what they're frightened of - Both Brown & Bush (the FED) are desperately trying to allay those fears with their various "Rescue packages" & this "T***" is ensuring that the crunch will bite Harder because Nobody will want to be a "Creditor to the banks" when (& now IF) he gets into power - the LIBOR availability will be crippled even more by this STUPID statement - What a jerk.
Now they will lend money In America - but Not in BRITAIN
Looks like we're Really stuffed now - All except Andy that is _________________ It's a good job it's only a game - be a bitch if it was real |

Why not bail out the savers with more than £35k?
As for the Investors. Tough shit.
You took the Dividends for years and now it's reversed. Enjoy watching your pension fly down the swannee. Did no one tell you "The value of shares can fall"?
City boys handing the keys to Houses, Cars, Boats back?
So welcome to the real world and the Benefits Office is in the phone book and no, Benefit is not earnings related.
Mince can be made to taste nice by the way and Tesco's do a good range of "Under a Fiver" plonk.
Enjoy . _________________ Why do "New Age Travellers" have old caravans and "Old Age Travellers" have new ones?
